Family Time!!

Our neighborhood got a visit from Santa (neighbor Larry) and a great little Christmas party (thanks Melissa!)  Preston is very perceptive sometimes and can figure things out fairly quickly.  Larry talked in a high voice trying to throw the kids off.  Emma wasn’t able to see Santa because she went to see the Nutcracker with her troop, so we took the kids to the mall to talk to the jolly old elf.  As we were walking in, I asked Preston if he already told Santa what he wanted.  He said, “Well, I already told Larry.” lol.  The little stinker. The kiddles got to make (very small) gingerbread houses with grandma, minus a napping William, and they turned out great.  Grandma likes to help the kids create all sorts of fun things:)

If anyone knows the secret to getting kids to stop posing like maniacs, lemme know.  silly girl! Making icicles. Tada!What sweet little houses!Puzzle time!  Now that we don’t have any babies and we have another table free of milk spills and such, we can pull out puzzles to do as a family.  The kids have done their best to “help” and it has been fun to put it together.  We bought a few more to do over the next week or so.

Grandma showing Preston how it goes:) What does this thing look like again?  The picture of the puzzle was so tiny, it really was hard to tell where some of the pieces fit. I believe this person is responsible for most of the silly genes in the family, or at least the ones I have.  Grandpa can really be a silly nutjob sometimes:)The thinker. heehee.
