You’ve probably already seen pictures of Evelyn cheerleading, but she has so much fun and does such a great job I can’t help putting more pictures on the blog. She has been cheering since August so we are glad for some down time.

Evelyn and the squad cheering for the Porter Ridge Pirates
Evelyn’s cheer squad was in a competition with teams from several states in the Southeast. Her squad came in 2nd place in their age group and they looked fantastic! Joanna (Izzy’s mom) did such a great job coaching the girls – way to go!
Evelyn’s squad was the second group to perform, then we had to sit through about 40 more until the awards ceremony – thank goodness for the Nintendo DS, iPod, etc…
Running out in front of a few thousand people – Evelyn said she was very nervous but it didn’t show at all.

William really enjoyed watching the competition. After watching Evelyn cheer for the last 6 months I am sure he could have jumped right in with the girls and not missed a beat!

Reminds me of the hours and hours that we watched Starlyn. She never wanted to go to competition though. That was OK by us.At the end of the season we had had enough too.
