This summer we had a pass that allows kids to bowl two free games per person per day so we tried to make it to the bowling alley several times. We had the same pass a few years ago and bought bowling shoes online so that we wouldn’t have to rent shoes each time we went bowling. You’ll notice William is just wearing socks… his feet and Evelyn’s are close to the same size so they share shoes. It actually works out pretty well. None of us are great but it is a fun thing to do as a family. Cousins Madison and Renee came along on this occasion while family was visiting.
Preston looks like he has a watermelon and William looks like he has a pumpkin in these pictures. I think William had on Preston’s shirt which was way to big and he had on one of his smaller pairs of shorts so he looks like a child that has parents that don’t care how he is dressed… maybe they really don’t! 
In a few more years James will be able to join in the fun, but for this summer he just chilled in the stroller.
Here is Evelyn being proud of herself after knocking down several pins (of course the ball is quite heavy to her and takes a few minutes to get all the way down). Preston and Maddison each take turns with the pumpkin. Emma keeps growing up; looks like she is having a good time though!
