Disneyworld Part 2

Our 3rd day was spent at Epcot.  This was our first experience with it, and we really liked it.  We really enjoyed Soarin’ and the Nemo rides/shows.  Preston got to talk to Crush during turtle talk.  Crush asked him his name, then he asked him where his parents were.  He then asked big Preston his name and got this shocked look on his face and said, “whoa, deja vu.” lol.  Grandma Rita made William a Jake costume (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) and William loves it.  He wore it just about every day.  Lots of cast members asked “Jake” how he was doing:) We also got Evelyn a Cinderella dress (thanks Halloween sales!), and she got lots of princess comments, and even had someone bow to her!
We all really enjoyed Mission Space.  The g forces were very interesting.

The kids did some Perry the Platypus missions, which is a great concept, but caused everyone to fight, every single time.  They get a phone (or fone) and have to look for specific landmarks in whatever land their mission is in (like Japan or Germany)  Then, when they find that area, they push the button and lots of times, whatever it is would do something.  I wish they would’ve given us more than one phone for the four kids.

We got to eat at Akershus, which is the princess dinner.  The food was blah (except the rolls!)  William ate a whole butterball.  He just popped it in his mouth. lol.  The best part was meeting all of the princesses.  I know it was little Preston’s favorite part of the week ;)

On the fourth day, we went to Animal Kingdom.  This was my second favorite.  Everything can be done in one day and it is just so much fun!  We started out with the Safari.  I love that ride.

We also loved Mt. Everest.  Well, almost all of us did.  William HATED it!  He was so freaked out by it.  Too bad we made him ride it six times!  We had to literally drag him on it and strap him in.  Once on it he was fine, but he did not like the anticipation.  He’d even give a tiny woohoo in the middle.  We are mean, I know, but we wanted to do everything together.  It’s the whole reason we left the baby at home!!
Many many times when I’d get the camera out, William would start doing an egyptian walk.  It still makes me laugh.  Mt. Everest in the background:)

Gotta love It’s a Bug’s Life!

Evelyn stopped to do some bollywood dancing (I don’t know what you call that type of dancing)  She had made a friend while watching the Lion King show (love) and we found her again, so they started dancing together:)

In line for Mt. Everest.  William is not pleased.

But he put his brave face on and did it anyway.

We also really enjoyed the dinosaur ride.  You ride a jeep like vehicle and go back in time to find a dinosaur.  My kids are still repeating, “Right! Left!  Right! Left!” and “We’re not going to make it! We’re not going to make it!” lol.  I LOVE this shot of us, especially Emma. I do not understand why the orthodontist says she’s got a small mouth. haha!
After Animal Kingdom, we went to Downtown Disney for dinner (Earl of Sandwich, yum!) and dessert (Ghirardelli's huge ice cream cones, yum!) They had a dance party going on and we sat back while they went up and danced.  When we got back to the room, they totally crashed.  We came out and found William and Evelyn like this! LOL!
