Emma's Dance Recital:)

Emma did really well! She did 3 songs and had a lot of fun this term. We are so proud of her efforts and also proud of her for never wanting to quit. She enjoys dance a lot. She does really great considering she's the youngest in her class, and most of the class consists of 7 and 8 year olds. She did even better in rehearsals, but isn't that always the way? at least it was for me! Before we got to the recital, she said, "I want you to yell for me after each dance, ok?" lol. I said, "OK! What exactly do you want me to yell?" hee hee. It's oh so easy to please them sometimes:)

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy: Sorry for the technical difficulties, the camera shut down automatically, it was wierd. She's so cute, idn't she?

Here's her hip hop routine. She starts out in the last row behind the girl who is in the orange pants in front, make sense? so you can't really see her till she moves up. Preston zoomed in on Anna, who while cute, is not my daughter. lol.

Surfin Safari: This one is too cute. I am a little upset though that the helpers did not blow up Emma's ball, she even asked them to.. grrr... it made it so she could barely spin it and it wouldn't bounce. ah well, whaddya do. My absolute favorite part of this whole dance is the hair shake. LOOOOOOOVE IT!! Emma gets plowed down at the very end, poor thing, but she was perfectly fine:)

Too cute!! Emma's a pretty good little dancer! I took dance as a kid and never learned any of the steps--the tapes are pretty sad. Great job Emma!
