Lots of Stuff!

IMG_0073
Through the month of June, my parents came to stay with us for a few weeks.  The kids got a lot of grandma and grandpa time and Preston and I got of lot of us time, so it was a win-win.  One of the highlights was going to a Knights game.  The team won, it wasn’t too hot, the kids semi-paid attention, and the fireworks were great!  William was not a fan of the fireworks, but he did unbury himself from daddy’s neck long enough to see a few.IMG_0069

A few weeks ago, literally the day before we were going to go buy new beds for the boys, we got a knock on the door by some neighbor kids asking if we wanted/needed two beds.  Um, yes please!  Can you say inspiration?  They are really nice, sturdy beds and William is thrilled to have his first big boy bed (about time, huh?)DSC_3755

Grandma did lots of crafts while she was here, but my favorite by far was the girls’ bedding.  They even got to help sew it together!  Thanks Grandma!IMG_0112IMG_0114IMG_0116IMG_0117
My kids have a love for reading and devour any book they can get their little hands on.  Grandpa took them to B & N and let them pick out two books.  I think they’ve all been read already, but they’ve also been passed around.  Thanks Grandpa!IMG_0121IMG_0122

We had a wonderful visit. I suppose not enough story time for the kids but overall fun. The ballgame was lots of fun especially seeing the kids in their Knights jerseys. Oh and Grandma enjoyed making the quilts for the girls!
